Serverless can reduce infrastructure management and align capacity with demand. It can also be the wrong fit for some workloads.
The decision should come from workload behaviour, reliability needs, cost model, deployment practices and team capability.
Architecture before ideology means using managed, event-driven services where they make the system clearer, and using containers or other patterns where they make more sense.
